Terms of Service

vibeCodeCLI is a free, bring-your-own-key developer tool. Using it means accepting these terms. They're written to be readable; where it matters, the binding language is here.

Last updated: 24 June 2026. "We"/"us" = ThinkingDBx Pvt. Ltd. "The tool" = the vibeCodeCLI command-line program and this website.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the tool you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use it.

License & cost

The CLI is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. There is no subscription, seat fee, or markup on model tokens · you pay your own model provider directly. We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the tool as distributed. You may not resell it as a service, remove attribution, or misrepresent its origin.

Your responsibility (read this one)

vibeCodeCLI is an autonomous agent that executes commands and edits files on your machine. It can run shell commands, modify or delete files, make network requests, and call external tools. Powerful, and therefore your responsibility:

• You are responsible for everything the tool does on your systems, and for reviewing its output before relying on it.
• Use the autonomy controls (careful / auto / full-auto), version control, and backups. The outcome check and approval gates reduce risk but are not a guarantee against mistakes or data loss.
• Run it only against code and systems you're authorized to modify, and in keeping with your employer's and providers' policies.
• You're responsible for the cost of the model and service usage you incur.

API keys & third-party services

You bring your own keys. Your use of any model provider, search provider, or MCP server is governed by that party's terms and pricing · we are not a party to it and are not responsible for it. Keep your keys secure; you're responsible for activity under your keys.

ThinkingMemory

ThinkingMemory is a separate, optional service operated by ThinkingDBx with its own terms. The free CLI works fully without it. If you enable it, the memory service's terms and the Privacy Policy apply to that data.

No warranty

The tool is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that its output will be correct or safe to use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkingDBx is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or damage to systems, arising from your use of the tool · including actions taken by the agent. Because the tool is free, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for it (which is zero).

Changes & governing law

We may update the tool and these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Telangana. Questions: [email protected].
